Debit Wallet Adjustments
Homnifi implemented the Debit Wallet balance system to correct discrepancies in user accounts. This measure addresses issues such as incorrect token conversions and staking duration anomalies, ensuring accurate balances and maintaining system integrity.
Why Do You See a Debit Wallet in Your Account?
A Debit Wallet balance has been applied to certain user accounts due to adjustments made to reflect accurate balances. If you see a Debit Wallet balance, it could be due to one of the following reasons:
Tokens were incorrectly converted during certain transactions from CloudK, leading to excess LYK-W claims that required correction.
A staking duration issue on Wallek allowed premature claims, requiring adjustments to restore accurate balances. You will have a debit in your account in case you withdrew any of these amounts.
A system discrepancy on Wallek enabled unintended claims of sLYK, which have now been adjusted accordingly.
If you had multiple duplicate transactions processed from Journey Bridge you will have a debit wallet balance USDK KAL -> USDK-W.
How the Debit Wallet Works
The amount added to the Debit Wallet is deducted from any withdrawals made - whether External Withdrawals, Internal Transfers, or Reward Claims - until the Debit Wallet balance becomes 0. This ensures that adjustments are gradually accounted for through regular transactions.
