# How Does Token Claiming Work

**Step 1: Go to "My Projects”**\

Navigate to "My Projects" on Rampstarter and select the project from which you want to claim tokens.\ <br>

**Step 2: Check Vesting Conditions**\

Tap "Read Vesting Condition" to view the conditions for TGE, Vesting, and Cliff.\

**Step 3: Claim Tokens**

Tap the "Claim Token" button to claim your eligible tokens. A "Claim Reward" popup will appear.\ <br>

**Claim reward popup will show up**

**TGE**\
Token generated event (“TGE”). If a user is eligible for TGE, the "Claim" button will be enabled, allowing you to claim tokens before the vesting period.\
\
**Vesting rewards**\
If eligible for vesting rewards, the "Claim All" button will be enabled, letting you collect all your vested tokens.

**Cliff**\
Refers to a period during which team members, advisors, or early investors cannot sell or transfer their allocated tokens. After the cliff period ends, they start receiving their tokens gradually. This helps ensure long-term commitment to the project and stability in the token's value.

**Step 4: Connect respective metamask**&#x20;

choose the respective wallet from the metamask pop up , click on the next button.<br>

**Step 5: Connect metamask**&#x20;

Click on connect button for the selected account<br>

**Step 6: Sign the transaction in metamask pop up**<br>

**Step 7: Click on the approve button**

A transaction in the metamask extension will appear. Click on the max button for allowing USDT tokens from metamask.\

**Step 8: Approve transaction**&#x20;

click approve button, this will cost a very minimal amount in blockchain gas fees\

**Step 9: Import tokens to metamask**\
After claiming, tokens may not appear in Metamask immediately. Tap the "Import" button in the reward popup and approve the transaction in Metamask to make your tokens visible.<br>

**Final Step: View Tokens in Metamask**

Your claimed tokens should now be visible in your Metamask wallet. If not, manually import them as described.
