8th October 2025 - DAO Proposal Implementation Timeline
As part of the ongoing governance rollout, several community-approved DAO proposals are being implemented across the Homnifi and LayerK ecosystem.
These updates follow the collective direction voted by token holders and are being introduced in two release phases October and November 2025.
The following timeline outlines the proposal implementations, their key objectives, and rollout periods.
October 2025 Releases:
1. sLYK to mLYK Conversion (1 : 0.15)
A structured conversion process allowing users to exchange sLYK tokens for mLYK at a fixed rate of 1:0.15.
The feature is in final testing and scheduled for release this month.
2. Unlocking of Wallek Linking
All sLYK and LYK tokens previously linked under Wallek will be unlocked.
LYK tokens: fully available post-release.
sLYK tokens: gradual daily access over 500 days
This release is aligned with the earlier sLYK to mLYK conversion rollout.
3. NodeK Adjustment for Shipping Non-Compliance
Reward adjustments now vary by purchase date:
Before 1 July 2025: reduced to 20% adjustment
On or after 1 July 2025: 80% adjustment continues.
Deployment is scheduled for the end October.
4. Community Token Conversion (ZEN, KBT, KAL to mLYK)
Community tokens from earlier initiatives (ZEN, KBT, KAL) will be converted to mLYK using pre-defined ratios.
The integration is underway, with a conversion portal planned for late October.
November 2025 Releases
5. Updated Vesting Model for CloudK Staking
A 500-day linear vesting will apply to unvested CloudK staking balances after expiry.
Designed to smoothen post-expiry release and improve balance management.
6. Minting Power Update for New Machines
New NodeK machine purchases will have reduced minting specifications, while existing ones remain unchanged.
Implementation is planned for early November.
7. Gradual Minting Power Adjustment by Machine Age
Machines will see approximate of upto 15% reduction in power strength every 12 months from the purchase date.
This ensures long-term performance alignment across hardware generations and mainting the difficulty rewards.
Summary
The DAO-led rollout reinforces transparent, community-driven governance for Homnifi.
October Phase: focuses on conversions, unlocks, and user account adjustments.
November Phase: introduces long-term logic updates and linking improvements.
The development and release process is being jointly coordinated by the LayerK and Homnifi teams, ensuring smooth implementation with user impact kept minimal.
