As part of our continued effort to enhance platform reliability and user access management, we’ve released a new Membership Expiry Validation System across the Homnifi platform. This update ensures timely renewal awareness, fair access control, and improved consistency for membership-linked benefits.
Membership Expiry Validation System
The new validation system introduces structured reminders, controlled access, and updated reward handling mechanisms for user memberships.
1. Renewal Reminders & Grace Periods
Users will now receive an on-screen reminder banner when their membership is due to expire within 10 days.
After expiry, a 3-day grace period is automatically applied, during which renewal messages and countdown indicators are displayed for membership renewal.
This ensures users are clearly informed and have adequate time to renew, before access limitations begin.
2. Access Management and Reward Handling After Expiry
Following the grace period, relevant sections of the platform are automatically locked until renewal is completed.
Key areas such as Home, Wallet, Shop, and Profile remain accessible at all times to facilitate renewals and wallet management
Under the new system, rewards generated during an inactive membership period post grace period will be:
Locked and non-claimable state for up to 60 days. If the user renews within this period, the full reward value becomes accessible again.
If renewal does not occur, a progressive disqualification model is applied, where a % of the daily rewards gets disqualified and permanently ineligible for claim.
Each week the percentage of disqualification increases incrementally over time until 100% of daily rewards gets into disqualification.
The disqualification is stopped once the membership is renewed, however there is no retrospective credit of disqualified rewards.
This approach promotes fair participation while offering users sufficient flexibility to maintain their membership continuity and protect accumulated benefits.
Ongoing Fix: Supernode Section Visibility
With this release some users may currently see their Supernode section marked as “locked” with a renewal prompt, even if their membership is active.
This is a minor validation display issue related to the new expiry logic integration.
The team has already identified the cause and a fix is being rolled out. The update is expected to be completed within the next 24 hours.
