3rd November - NodeK Protocol: Important Network Infrastructure Update

To maintain the integrity and performance of the NodeK ecosystem, we are implementing a critical infrastructure enhancement. The Gen3 AiX1 Home Station Extensions are now required for all In-House NodeK machines operating within our distributed network.

1. Mandatory Infrastructure Extension

The AiX1 Home Station is not a replacement or conversion of any existing hardware. This is a new, mandatory extension to your in-house server infrastructure that all NodeK operators must add to their setup. The AiX1 works as part of your complete in-house infrastructure to provide the computational capabilities and IP’s required for optimal network performance and sustainable reward generation. This requirement ensures every NodeK setup has the necessary components to handle evolving protocol demands and maintain full operational capacity.

Why Does This Matter

As our protocol evolves and the complexity of distributed workloads increases, the current Gen2/Xk series infrastructure faces limitations in handling the diverse job requirements being deployed across our network. The AiX1 Home Station Extensions serve as specialized compute modules that work alongside your existing in-house servers, enabling them to:

• Process a broader range of computational tasks efficiently

• Maintain optimal reward distribution as network demands scale

• Ensure long-term compatibility with upcoming protocol enhancements

• Contribute to network stability through enhanced processing capabilities

Who Does This Apply To

All In-House NodeK packages require these extensions to maintain full operational capacity. Virtual Software License holders are exempt from this requirement, as their infrastructure operates under different parameters.

The Reality of Network Growth

Our distributed architecture relies on a robust mesh of capable nodes. As we scale, each machine's ability to handle diverse workloads becomes essential—not just for individual performance, but for the collective strength of the entire network. The AiX1 Extensions represent the computational foundation needed to support this growth trajectory.

Without these extensions, Gen 2 machines will continue operating but with reduced job allocation priority and limited access to higher-value computational tasks, directly impacting rewards potential.

We understand this adds to your operational setup. To support our community during this transition, we are offering a limited-time 100% Platform token credit program for NodeK members adding these extensions to their existing configurations.

2. Adding the AiX1 Home Station Extensions

The process to integrate these extensions into your existing setup is straightforward. To maintain full operational status within the NodeK program, all in-house machine operators must complete the following:

• Required Action: Acquire the Gen3 AiX1 Home Station Extension by covering the product cost of $300 plus applicable shipping fees (starting at $100). Final costs may vary based on cart quantities and product configurations.

• Platform Token Credit Program: Upon successful order completion, you will receive 100% platform token credit covering both the product cost and shipping fees. You'll receive immediate order and email confirmation, with credits distributed according to the currency (mLYK/smLYK) and timing structure detailed in the scenarios below.

3. User Situations and Resolutions

To guarantee transparency and fairness, all users holding the Gen2 and SmartPay products are classified into specific categories, each with a defined resolution path.

Category	Situation	Resolution
A. Paid for Shipping/Pick Up and Device Delivered/Picked Up	The user paid for shipping/pick up and successfully received the Gen2 device.	The order remains valid with no refund applicable. The user must pay the Gen3 AiX1 Home Station Extension costs required for each package and will receive 100% platform token credit to their mLYK wallet. The Gen3 AiX1 is a required, mandatory extension for all NodeK Software Licenses, for full network compatibility and optimal job distribution.
B. Paid for Shipping/Pick Up and Device Not Delivered/Picked Up	The user paid the shipping/pick up fee, but the device was not delivered or collected.	Upon purchase of the Gen3 AiX1 Home Station Extensions, a refund will be released 30 days after the purchase date: 70% in USDK-W and 30% in USDK-OLD for the previous shipping amount paid. In addition, once the order is confirmed, the user will receive 100% platform token credit in sm-LYK wallet.
C. Unpaid Shipping	The user placed an order but did not pay the shipping/pick up fee or shipping fee was paid, but delivery was not successful and order was ‘returned’.	The order remains as-is with no refund applicable. The user can now order the Gen3 AiX1 Home Station Extension by paying the applicable product cost along with shipping fees and will receive 100% platform token credit to their smLYK wallet.
D. Gen1 Upgrade Holders	The user previously paid for an upgrade from Gen1 to Gen2.	All Gen1 to Gen2 upgraded machines are eligible for Gen3.
E – Defective device still with user	The user reported the Computer Device (CD) as defective, but the device is still in their possession.	The device is classified as “Delivered” and follows the same eligibility rules as Category A users. If a user moves forward with RMA, returning the device to Horystech and the device is found to be defective, rules that apply will be as Category F.
F – Defective device already returned to Horystech	The user sent the device back to Horystech, but no replacement device was shipped yet.	If the Device is confirmed to be Defective, rules that apply will follow category B.

4. Promotional Phase

To support a seamless transition, we've activated a 30-day promotional period starting from the program launch. During this window, all eligible users will receive 100% platform token credit in mLYK, regardless of package category. After the initial 30 days, credit distribution will follow the standard allocation structure outlined in Section 3.

5. Checkout Process Note

During Horysmall checkout, you may notice the cost breakdown currently displays the total amount under shipping without separating product and shipping costs. This display format will be corrected in the coming days. Your official invoice will include a complete breakdown showing the product cost ($300 per extension) and shipping fee ($100 per extension) as separate line items. Invoices will be made available for download once this update is complete, ensuring accurate cost allocation for your records.

7. Important Notice

• This extension requirement currently applies to all in-house NodeK machine operators. Users who already hold AiX packages should await a forthcoming update that will enable extension acquisition through a dedicated process. Further details will be announced shortly.
