# Personal Details

## Initial Profile Data Entry

When you log in to Homnifi for the first time, you will be required to complete a one-time setup process to provide essential personal information. The application will present a setup form or wizard divided into the following sections:

### Step 1: Personal Details

* **First Name:**
  * Enter your given or first name.
  * This is a free text field that allows only alphabets.
* **Last Name:**
  * Enter your family or last name.
  * This is a free text field that allows only alphabets.
* **Account Type:**
  * Select between "Personal" or "Corporate" account types.
  * The selected account type will impact the type of KYC (Know Your Customer) or KYB (Know Your Business) process that will be raised.
* **Profile Photo:**
  * You have the option to upload a profile photo.
  * Only JPG/JPEG files are allowed, with a maximum size limit of 5MB.
  * Uploading a profile photo is optional.
  * The uploaded photo will be previewed on the same page.
  * Option to edit the uploaded Profile Photo will be available soon.

### Step 2: Viewing and Editing Profile Information

Once you have completed the initial setup, you can navigate to the profile section to view or edit your existing information.

#### Profile Photo

* You can view your profile photo any time but the option to edit it will be available soon.

#### Email ID and BID

* The registered email ID and the unique user ID (BID - Blockchain Identifier) will be displayed alongside the profile photo.
* To update your email ID:
  * Click on the existing email ID to edit it.
  * An OTP will be sent to your registered email ID.
  * Enter the OTP on the profile update screen.
  * Upon successful verification, your email ID will be updated.
  * Please use the updated email ID for future login in the system.

#### Address Section&#x20;

* **Country:**
  * The country field will be pre-populated with the existing value or the value entered by the user.&#x20;
* **City:**
  * The city field will be pre-populated with the existing value or the value entered by the user.
* **Address:**
  * The address field can be entered by the user.
* **Zip Code:**
  * The zip code field can be entered by the user. For now only numerical Zip Codes can be saved, however the team is working on enabling Zip codes with Letters.

#### Mobile Number

* **Country Code:**

  * The country code field will be prepopulated with the existing value, matching the Country selected.
  * The phone number needs to be registered in the same Country. For this reason, the Country Code will always need to match with the Country field.

  If you see a mismatch, refresh the section by selecting a different Country and the choose again the preferred Country.
* **Mobile Number:**
  * This is a free text input field that allows only numeric characters.

#### **Q: How do I change my email address?**

* A: Navigate to the "Email ID" section in your profile, click on the existing email ID to edit it, and follow the steps to verify the new email ID.

#### **Q: What if I forgot my password?**

* A: Click on the "Forgot Password" link on the login page and follow the instructions to reset your password.

#### **Q: How do I enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?**

* A:  The 2FA will be configured at the time of your first time login. Just follow the instructions to enable 2FA using Google Authenticator.&#x20;

#### **Q: Can I update my profile photo later?**

* A: Yes, you can update your profile photo at any time by navigating to the profile photo section and uploading a new image. (Coming Soon)

#### **Q: How do I update my address?**

* A: Navigate to the "Address Section" in your profile, update the fields as needed, and save the changes.
